Musubi For You

We went to Asia over the summer and my favorite dish over there was chicken cashew.  I tried one recipe I found on line that ended in disaster.  Does anyone out there have a good simple recipe you would like to share with me?  I loved it and so did the rest of the family so I would love to make it but I have not found a recipe so far.  Please help me out.

I know this is a site about musubi but I thought it would be fun to have other recipes on it too so I will start to put some of my favorite recipes to share with you.  I love to try new recipes….sometimes they work and of course sometimes they do not.  I like to try new things but I also change up the recipes because sometimes I do not have the exact ingredients it calls for or I don’t like what they are telling you to put in it so I replace it with something I do or I leave something out.  It is a way to make it your own.  I know a lot of people do not try recipes because they do not like or have not heard of some of the things they use it them, I say COOK ON MY FRIEND.   You never know if you are going to like it unless you try it.  So if is looks good eat it.

I will of course give credit where credit is due and if you find your recipe on there and you do not wish it to be part of the site please let me know and we will take it off right away.

I made musubi last night.  Of course I made it with spam but I also put some crab on some too.  Michaela and Lani loved it so much.  I need to start taking pictures of the stuff I make and post them for you guys.  Lani took musubi to school today for lunch and I included a few extra pieces for her teachers because they love it too.

I hope you find some good info on this site.  My whole family loves musubi and you will be amazed at the things you can make musubi out of.  I will not only give your recipes but also keep you posted on new kitchen tools that come out to help with your musubi making skills.

All recipes and advise are welcome.  Feel free to join in at any time you have a better or fun way to do something.  I am always looking for new ideas and I love to try new things.  I always try to keep my family guessing about what is going to be on the table for dinner.  It is a simple way to make meal time fun.  Beside you never know if you are going to like something until you try it.  Remember the first time you had Tako.
